Failures Commonly Experienced by Mac Hard Drives:

When a Mac hard drive failure occurs it can fail for a variety of reasons, it is vital that the fault is diagnosed correctly by a Mac professional data recovery specialist in order that the data on the Mac hard drive can be recovered. There are a number of signs that your Mac hard disk drive may be close to experiencing failure, including a question mark on boot, clicking or grinding noises and a lower level of performance, partition not visible in disk manager etc. By turning off your Mac immediately upon experiencing warning signs, you’ll increase your chances that your data can be completely recovered. Mac Hard Drive’s can fail for a variety of reasons, below is the most common PC drive failure types we receive in for data recovery:

Question Mark when Booting Mac System:

This type of failure is normally the result of the hard disk not getting recognised by the Mac system. Often this is a result of a physical fault with the Mac hard drive. A physical or mechanical fault can mean beeping and buzzing noise coming from the Mac system and is normally an indication that the motor has failed on the hard disk. A clicking noise is normally an indication that the read/write heads have failed. This failure is normally the result of the Mac system getting a knock or a fall. We have a high success rate with recovering data from clicking Mac HDD’s.

Mac Hard drive Electronic Failure:

This type of failure is normally the result of a power surge or power spike (a lot of cases involve connecting the wrong power supply to the Mac hard drive). We have a high success rate with recovering data from dead Mac HDD’s.

Mac Firmware Failures:

Firmware is a software program that is responsible for the communication between the entire computer system and the Mac hard disk drive. Firmware codes are typically located on disk platters, and if the platter becomes damaged or corrupted, the hard disk drive will experience a failure. This type of failure occurs even if the other mechanical and electrical components of the hard drive are in perfect working order. We have a high success rate with recovering data from corrupted firmware Mac HDD’s.

Mac Hard Drive is Operating very Slowly or Freezing:

This type of failure means the Mac hard drive is degrading. In most circumstances it means the sectors on the Mac disk are getting corrupt and unreadable and unwritable. It can also mean that bad sectors on the hard drive are not getting allocated by the hard drive correctly. With this type of failure a client can normally not copy data from the drive or files and folders keeps appearing and then disappearing from view. We have a high success rate with recovering data from corrupted & bad sector Mac HDD’s.

MACBOOK AIR 2011

I am using an early 2011 version of the Macbook Air, which I also use Windows 7 on a Bootcamp partition. Recently, I have been having some problems with my gameplay, and have not been able to get a good resolution on the display. To remedy this, I tried to put the settings as low as possible, and now I am finding that I can’t open up the game files which I was using before this resolution change. I can see the files, but the computer says that it can’t open up the data when I double-click on the file, and Get Info says that the files are invalid. I tried to adjust the references again, and tried to open the files after this adjustment, but it did not work.

MACBOOK AIR

I need help with some data recovery from a Macbook Air. I have been using the computer with an internet connection for some time, but suddenly last week, I have not been able to connect to the Wi-Fi. I have tried connecting to the internet using a cable, but I constantly get a Network Time Out. This is a problem, because the external hard drives that I use to save data from the Macbook are connected to the server. If I can’t access the server through the internet, I can’t recover the data from the drives. I want to use that data, and it doesn’t seem like I am able to do this. I have tried a Windows laptop, and this can connect to the server, but which will not read the files on the hard drives. I want to get access to that data, even if I can’t recover the internet, but I don’t know how I can manage it without being able to see the server.

EMAC G4

I have an eMac G4 which recently had a new monitor connected to it. The old one had a failed tube, so I bought a compatible HP computer monitor and thought that this would be suitable. Since that time, I have not been able to get any kind of display on the computer. All I get is a blinking blue light where the monitor power button is. I can’t afford to pay for a new monitor, but the most difficult problem I have is that the computer is currently full of work for a client which needs to be delivered soon. I have done everything I can to get the monitor going, but it is still not responding, and I have the deadline for the client rapidly approaching. I don’t know how to get the data which is currently in the computer onto a USB flash drive so that I can do something with it, or can at least show the client what I have done so far. I need your company to recover the data from the hard drive, and put it onto a USB External Hard Drive.

EMAC M9425LLA

I have an eMac M9425LLA which I use to run a home business. This computer is working perfectly, but unfortunately my young daughter managed to install a password on the computer. She was playing with it while I was preparing the lunch, and when I came to restart the computer, I saw the box asking for a password for the first time. I am not able to get into the desktop account, and I also can’t access the system files which would allow me to remove the password. My daughter denies that she has put on this password, and certainly can’t remember what it might be, if she had. I have a lot of work on the desktop which relates to clients’ projects, and I really need to be able to recover it quickly.
